IMPLEMENTATION

We provide implementation services for end-to-end infrastructure technology solution rollouts, upgrades and service improvement projects.

TECHNICAL RESOURCE

We will perform any required system build and configuration activities and can also assist with scripting and automation. If a technical problem arises during a project and no one else is able or willing to pick it up, then we will use our experience to resolve the problem. In many projects we find even subject matter experts who may have greater knowledge about an existing in-house system find our input invaluable. We provide clear thinking and a technical aptitude to provide new insight and ideas not considered in day-to-day running of the system. Our aim is always to develop technical partnerships with your IT staff so we can maximise the success of a delivery.

TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT

In many projects we find there can be gaps in understanding between project or service managers and the technical staff. This may be because we are implementing a technology the manager is unfamiliar with, or the manager may have come from a business background. In these situations managers often do not have the time or desire to get up to speed with technical details as their responsibilities lie elsewhere. We can bridge the gap and identify the needs specified by management and translate it to actions for the technical teams. We can take a big picture overview while still holding our own on the technical details. This means assisting project managers to clearly define technical plans and road maps and help manage issues and escalate problems as they arise throughout a project.

SERVICE TRANSITION

A new system or technology must be successfully integrated so we will perform detailed planning and preparation to ensure that everything goes smoothly. This involves not only generating the plan, but ensuring the relevant customer teams are on board and that the plan is verified prior to transitioning a new system to a production environment. We are experienced consultants, but have also worked in an operational capacity, so we are aware of the need to follow change protocol and to maintain business service throughout. We will support you right through a go-live and provide post-implementation support when required to be sure your system is working well before we close the project.
